OOAK Limited Edition Maleficent doll

Here is my OOAK Limited Edition Malefcent doll.
I first removed all the original paint with the shimmery coat that was all over her face. Now her skin looks much more natural. Than she got a full facial repaint with acrylic paints. I wanted to pay tribute to the amazing art of Marc Davis with this doll that´s why she is created very close to the animation. The animation was simple but very expressive, for example Maleficent had only these little black spots instead of a real iris, but her glaze was very intense. I tried to give my Maleficent a regal, elegant look and an evil and distant expression using the same artistic techniques as Marc Davis and his animators did. I also repainted her head and neck and changed the collar of her gown. Her raven Diablo also gor a repaint.
