OOAK Walt Disney Aurora

Finally she is done!
My OOAK Aurora from Walt Disney´s masterpiece Sleeping Beauty :
"A crown to wear in grace and beauty, as is thy right and royal duty"

As base doll I used a Barbie doll with the Mackie face mold (Happy Holliday Barbie), the original facepaint is removed and she got a full face repaint to look like Aurora in the movie. Her hair is restyled into her signature curls and bang. The crown and the necklace are custom made, I used several Barbie accessories, glued them together,painted them with acrylic paints and later glued little swarowski crystals to it.
The gown is handsewn, the bodice is a matt satin adorned with blue pearls, the collar is white shiny satin, the sleeves and the middle part are printed cotton, I painted more roses on it, embroided with a golden thread. The skirt is made with 3 parts, underskirt is a polyester in dark blue, in the middle satin (the same from the bodice) and the upper layer is light blue chiffon, very delicate.
